STEP 1:
The first step to the making of our blankets is gathering donated clothing and factory scraps, saving fabric from the landfill.
STEP 2:
The recycled fabrics are then shredded into fibers in a water-free, chemical-free carding process.
STEP 3:
The fibers from carding are combined with fibers of different colors to create a unique palette without ever touching dye - and then is spun into yarn.
STEP 4:
The yarn is given new life and is woven into our blankets on a Jacquard loom.
STEP 5:
Once the fabric is woven, it is brushed and shaved to enhance softness.
STEP 6:
After the brushing process the warp yarn is twisted on both ends of the blanket to create our signature tassels.
STEP 7:
Lastly, each blanket is rigorously quality checked to ensure it is free of defects and flaws.
